You were asking about OUR Rotary Club ?

We are the first Twilight Rotary Club in Scarborough and the greater Toronto area where you will find people who take pride in helping other people, to be the best they can be through their Rotary friends.

Our Members are community-oriented and reflect a cross-section of many business professions (Active and retired).

Membership in the Scarborough Twilight Rotary Club is a great experience and we always welcome business professionals and community leaders, to participate in our club as members.

Membership is always by invitation as the commitment can be difficult for some individuals.

Rotary requires long hours and full commitment to helping people in local, national and international communities.

Our Rotary club is:

Scarborough Twilight Rotary Club.

The twilight designation makes it unique in Canada and has been developed to meet the needs of individuals who want to give back to their communities but because of their hectic work and family schedules are unable to devote enough time to community activities.

Although there are breakfast, lunch or dinner clubs many professionals find it convenient to join the STRC as it meets their needs in a very busy schedule at their professional jobs.

Our Meetings are one hour on Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. The club offers an opportunity for social fellowship and dinner is optional after the weekly meetings. All meetings are designed to allow members to conduct club business promptly while still leaving the evening free for family or other business activities.

The club encourages a monthly social get together in which members come together, strictly for social activities and group activities or to discuss club projects and welcome new members.

All meetings are design to respect the individual's time so members can participate without taking too much time out of their Tuesday evenings.

Our club values are built around the understanding of work and family responsibilities.

STRC prides itself in having much more flexible attendance requirements but all members participate fully in all community activities and projects.

Club Meetings

Our club meets weekly at :

Three Monkeys Restaurant

1585 Warden Ave. just below 401. on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 P.M.

We discuss our projects and forward planning with members who can availing themselves of refreshments on an optional basis. The lounge meals are available to those members.

Club Membership

To be a Scarborough Twilight Rotarian, you must be ready with your “talent, time and treasure” to make life a little better for others. As a new and growing club we are going through developmental changes and your thoughts and suggestions will be important to us and to the success of this new club structure.
